Campbell Clan Overview

E-mail Print PDF

This area of the zonzorp.ca web site is intended to help make family connections for members of our Campbell clan. Many of the family members are in the southwestern Ontario area of Canada, but the family is everywhere. My own connection to the Campbell clan is through my grandfather's grandmother. The Campbell clan has held a family reunion annually, the 2nd Saturday in August at the Appin Presbyterian Church on Wellington Street in Appin, Ontario. There is a potluck lunch and some activities for the kids. For the past few years, about 35 people have attended. Some family history is published here, more is available by contacting the family.

2011 Myrtle Beach Golf Trip Review

E-mail Print PDF

Our trip for 2011 has come, been enjoyed and is done.

We stayed at the Wachesaw East condos again. We have dropped Wild Wing Avocet off the list and put Pawley's Plantation on. I also juggled the schedule a bit so that we played the TPC mid-week. Our itinerary was as follows.

Sunday 10/23/2011 08:00am International Club
Monday 10/24/2011 08:00am Willbrook
Tuesday 10/25/2011 08:00am River Club
Wednesday 10/26/2011 08:00am Founder's Club At Pawley's Island
01:30pm Pawley's Plantation
Thursday 10/27/2011 08:00am T.P.C Of Myrtle Beach
Friday 10/28/2011 08:00am Tradition
Saturday 10/29/2011 08:00am Wachesaw Plantation East
Sunday 10/30/2011 08:00am Blackmoor

We had excellent weather for our trip, with temperatures into the 70's every day until Saturday the 29th when it turned rather chilly. We had clouds and wind that Saturday morning, but it cleared up and was sunny and cool for the afternoon. Some of the guys took an afternoon or two off, but most played all 252 holes. The scores are posted on fairwayfiles.com as usual  For 2011, we kept score using a combination of paper cards and a new iPhone app, EZScoreCard. It can post the scores directly to fairwayfiles.com. Since we only had one device keeping score with us, we used paper cards for the other group.
